Ping.

Hello!

I'm Ping. I currently live in Sydney’s inner west, having previously spent time in the UK and a few other parts of Australia.

When it comes to work, I have a broad skills set and have worked in a number of sectors, the common denominator being having a strong aptitude for solving problems and identifying and delivering on opportunities.

Empathy is my strong suit and, more than ever, demonstrating real, meaningful impact is my driving motivation.

My take is that when you take the time to understand people, their fears and motivations in any situation, then seeing possibility and driving meaningful change can follow quite easily.

I’ve gone from telling stories that capture imaginations, to formulating strategic thinking that is creative and pushes at the edges. Throughout my career, digital, content, product, and operational strategy have all been my responsibility to wrangle, often in groundbreaking new roles that I’ve had the pleasure of proving the potential of. The challenge of flicking between untangling small details and zooming out to address a big-picture, long-term view is one I relish.

Currently, areas that particularly capture my interest are media’s swift evolution, the changing role of digital and technology in our daily lives, education, notions of community, the future of cities, and social good initiatives focussed on our ageing population.
